Political Cartoon

1.Is it unconstitutional to force people into buying health insurance?
2.Is this an example of the government over stepping their boundaries?
3.Will it be hard for the next president to repeal Obamacare?

  1. This comic is false. You will not be put in jail for not 'buying' health insurance. You don't even buy it!

In the new system, you still have health insurance provided by your employer. However, it is required that everyone gets healthcare insurance. If you are unemployed, you can buy a company's healthcare insurance. For those who are too poor to pay for health insurance, there is government support to allow for affordability. You can opt out the system as well. But, if you go to a hospital, you have to pay for an added person to the system. If you refuse to pay you WON'T be put in prison, you will be taken to court. It also eliminates pre-existing conditions when changing an insurance company. This is crucial as well.

    1. Look above. This statement is incorrect.
    2. No, it is important for the government to provide the basic necessity of health care to people, even if it is in this limited way.
    3. I certainly hope so. And if it allows for a single payer system, then yes, in that case thumbs up.

  2. Okay that’s nice and all Tristan, but your comments don’t even warrant a response from me anymore. I honestly think you have some weird obsession with my blog but it ends right here. Your views are so messed up and I’ve tried to respectfully listen to them but you can’t do the same for me. I’m blocking you from my blog so you’re going to have to find someone else to annoy.
PS, you like the sound of your own voice a little too much.
